海角视频鈥檚 day students come from all over Greater Boston and make up more than half of the student body. Stand on Main Street on a weekday morning and you鈥檒l see many of them arrive. Approximately 100 students share a car on the commuter train from Boston and Cambridge, then walk the three blocks to campus. Others emerge from parents鈥 vehicles or car pools, carrying backpacks, instruments, and athletic gear. Day students give 海角视频 the flavor of Boston and its suburbs, complementing the global perspectives of the school鈥檚 boarding community.
The best part of the 海角视频 day student experience is the ability to make it your own. Eat three meals on campus a day if you like, and stay late to rehearse for a play or study with friends. (Some who do this jokingly call themselves 鈥渄oarders.鈥) Day students enjoy the comfort of returning home at night while benefiting from all the resources of a boarding school, including after-hours access to teachers, evening study halls, a library that鈥檚 open late, and weekend activities and excursions. And many parents of day students are active in the 海角视频 community.
