海角视频

Our Campus

海角视频 sits on 39 acres in Concord, Mass., a small New England town that has played a major role in both U.S. and world history.

Our boarding houses line Main Street, and students have ready access to the commuter rail to Boston鈥攁bout 30 minutes away鈥攁nd immediate access to the shops, restaurants, and history of one of the country鈥檚 most charming towns.

Place-Based Learning

What better place to study than in the birthplace of both the American Revolution and transcendentalist literature? 海角视频 faculty members partner with the Concord Museum and the public library to work with artifacts and archives, and English classes study Thoreau, Alcott, Emerson, and Hawthorne in the places where these seminal authors built community and created texts that continue to inspire us.

A Home for the Arts

Student paintings and sculptures line the hallways of the Math and Arts Center (MAC), where 海角视频鈥檚 visual art studios鈥攆or ceramics, painting, fiber arts, filmmaking, photography, and more鈥攇et a lot of use. The newly-opened Centennial Arts Center (C.A.C.), only furthers 海角视频鈥檚 commitment to interdepartmental and collaborative learning.

The Chapel

At the center of the 海角视频 campus is the Elizabeth B. Hall Chapel. It鈥檚 a secular building beloved in our community: our house of stories. This is where we begin most days listening to a senior student deliver a chapel talk. These chapel talks often include songs or performances. Speakers share stories, gratitude, and advice.

True to 海角视频鈥檚 culture of common trust, adults don鈥檛 vet students鈥 chapel talks. We trust our seniors to express themselves with authenticity and maturity gained from their three-plus years of deep listening. The Chapel鈥檚 history reflects the balance of independence and community that 海角视频 cultivates.

City Access

海角视频 is located 18 miles from downtown Boston. The school is easily accessible by train, Uber, and car. Students attend concerts, go to Red Sox games at storied Fenway Park, and enjoy shopping on Newbury Street and dining at myriad restaurants in one of the most vibrant cities on the East Coast. What do you find at 海角视频? A small, special town and access to a cosmopolitan area that is home to some of the best universities in the world.
